Colorado Springs, CO — Mountain Springs Church is inviting anyone looking to find community and connection to its upcoming First Step event, a relaxed and welcoming evening designed to help newcomers and longtime attendees alike take their next step in faith and community life.
First Step will take place on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the church campus located at 7345 Adventure Way in Colorado Springs. The event offers a chance to hear the heart behind MSC’s mission, explore ways to get involved, and discover how individuals and families can make a difference through serving.
Whether someone is brand new to Mountain Springs or has been attending for a while and is ready to jump in, First Step provides a clear path to deeper connection. Attendees will hear from church leaders about the vision God has placed on the church — to see lives transformed and hope restored through practical, hands-on ministry throughout Colorado Springs and beyond.
“There’s something powerful about finding your place in a community that’s pursuing Jesus together,” said a representative from the MSC team. “First Step is about making that process easy and meaningful. It’s where you get to see the ‘why’ behind what we do, and how you can be a part of it.”
From hospitality teams and kid's ministry to local outreach and worship, MSC offers a wide range of ways to serve and connect. At First Step, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about those teams and find where their passions and gifts best align.
To make the evening even more accessible, dinner will be provided, and MSCKids will be available for children from birth through 6th grade. The goal is to create a relaxed environment where people can ask questions, meet others, and start building community from day one.
