Zentera Systems Expands Universal ZTNA Capabilities in CoIP® Platform 8.5
New Features Strengthen On-Premises Security and Accelerate VPN Replacement
(PRUnderground) December 18th, 2024
Zentera Systems, Inc., a leader in Zero Trust Security for the digitally transformed enterprise, today announced CoIP® Platform 8.5. Driven by enterprise customer requirements, this major release introduces powerful new features that expand its Universal Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) capabilities, enabling organizations to replace VPNs and secure on-premises access with lower setup time and cost.
Built-in Load Balancing for End-to-End Security
In response to customer demand for simplified architecture, CoIP Platform 8.5 delivers native load balancing, enabling seamless, end-to-end secure tunneling directly to load-balanced application servers. Unlike traditional gateway-based ZTNA solutions that require separately managed and expensive legacy load balancer appliances, this integrated feature eliminates security gaps by fully encrypting traffic all the way to the destination to protect against snooping and spoofing threats.
Rapid Application-Specific User Access
Organizations can now streamline secure access for employees, contractors, and third parties with minimal setup. The platform enables application-specific access, allowing enterprises to restrict network entry to trusted applications, such as a standard web browser or known software clients, based on the identity of the application and its digital signature. Minimizing resource onboarding requirements accelerates ZTNA adoption and simplifies deployment, thereby making the transition from legacy VPN solutions straightforward. For example, a contractor can be quickly granted network access limited to using only an approved web browser, enabling them to begin work immediately while more specific ZTNA policies are being configured.
By starting with basic controls and enabling progressive policy refinement, organizations can implement Zero Trust security at their own pace.
These new capabilities work in tandem with CoIP Platform’s leading Universal ZTNA capabilities that treat on-premises traffic on the same tier as remote access traffic, enabling consistent security and user experience regardless of a user’s location in the network.
“Today’s enterprises have an increasingly complex digital footprint, and Zero Trust protection is designed to deliver across the entire estate,” said Jaushin Lee, CEO of Zentera. “CoIP Platform’s unique support for on-premises access combined with Virtual Chambers for Zero Trust segmentation simplifies the journey to Zero Trust for our customers, helping them control initial user access as well as lateral migration for fast and meaningful security protection.”
CoIP Platform 8.5 is available immediately through Zentera’s customer support portal.
