Sargeant is using his experience and athletic acumen to empower the next generation of soccer stars in Central Florida.

Sherwin Sargeant, former UCF soccer standout and Spartanburg Methodist College All-American, is giving back to the Orlando community by hosting a free youth soccer camp every Sunday in November at Barnett Park. This initiative provides young players, ages 5-15, with the opportunity to learn from a seasoned professional and develop their skills in a supportive environment.

“Soccer has given me so much in life,” said Sargeant. “I’m thrilled to have the chance to teach and inspire young players here in Orlando. This camp is about building skills, but it’s also about fostering a love for the game and providing a positive environment for kids to grow.”

Sherwin Sargeant is a former collegiate soccer star who earned All-American honors at Spartanburg Methodist College and played at the University of Central Florida. Off the field, he is the founder of Sherwin and Associates, specializing in retirement planning for Florida’s education professionals.
